80 m luxury motor yacht
The energy of our dna
Francesco Paszkowski
Designer
I accepted the offer to design a mega-yacht for Fincantieri Yachts enthusiastically because I saw the commission as the perfect occasion to explore the possibilities of combining Fincantieri’s long-standing heritage in designing technologically advanced navy vessels with my personal experience in designing luxury leisure yachts. The resulting design is an unconventional 6-deck 80m-yacht whose austere lines recall navy vessels, but whose liveability is enhanced by open-air areas and the comforts of a mega-yacht.
The yacht’s generous size allowed for interior spaces as large as those of a cruise ship. In keeping with the yacht’s exterior look, the interiors too are done in a minimal, contemporary style. While floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces light up the interiors, they are masked from the outside by a film coating that matches the hull colour so that they don’t detract from the yacht’s austere look.
VIEWS STRIKE AT FIRST SIGHT
Advanced technology and well-established heritage combine with architectural touches throughout the 6-deck yacht. Folding-out terraces and wide panoramic social alfresco areas offering unparalleled views are shadowed by removable awnings and recall the comforts of a mega-yacht. Solar panels embody the quintessence of design as the perfect combination of shape and function.
